Dr Evitta Issa

Completed her Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Science (Medicine) Honours and Bachelor of Medical Studies with Distinction at the University of New South Wales in 2020. She began her clinical journey with internship and residency at Liverpool Hospital, where she developed a solid foundation in acute and general medical care.

She went on to complete further training at Royal North Shore Hospital, which included enriching secondment terms in regional centres such as Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Parkes. These experiences deepened her appreciation for community-centred care and broadened her clinical exposure across a diverse patient population.

Evitta has a particular interest in women’s and children’s health, and she is passionate about empowering patients through preventative medicine. Her training has also fostered a strong commitment to mental health, and she values the opportunity to provide holistic, compassionate care to individuals and families at all stages of life.

Outside of medicine, Evitta enjoys hiking in nature, reading widely, and expressing her creativity through music. She plays the piano and sings, and has recently begun learning the oriental lute, enjoying the challenge and cultural richness it brings.
